Nyc Parks Permit

In Nyc permits can be acquired for many events such as birthdays, photo shoots, and weddings. If you do a search on the internet you will find vendors offering high rates and including a $300 to $400 permit fee when in reality Permits for all nyc city parks including central park are $25.

Please note NYC Parks Department does offer certain designated wedding permits for specific locations such as Brooklyn Bridge Park that grants you extra perks such as seating arrangements, outdoor décor, catering and more, these permits are $400+

Regular Permit request take from 21 to 30 days to be processed. It is a very simple process than can be done online.
